Franklin Mutual Global Discovery Corporate Class

Investment Objective and Strategy

The fund aims to grow investors’ capital over the long term by investing substantially all of its assets in units of Franklin Mutual Global Discovery Fund (the “underlying fund”). The underlying fund seeks long-term capital appreciation by investing primarily in equity and debt securities of issuers around the world.

A flexible, go-anywhere strategy. Fund managers invest in the most attractive investment opportunities, unconstrained by region, market capitalization, sector or style box definition.

Bottom-up research process. Fund managers uncover undervalued stocks with viable catalysts that will change the way the market views their true worth.

Deep value investing. The underlying fund employs a distinctive, three-pronged approach to investing that has withstood the test of time by uncovering opportunities in undervalued stocks, merger arbitrage and distressed securities.

Currency hedging. The underlying fund typically engages in currency management strategies to hedge the exposure to the impact of changes in currency exchange rates.
