Franklin U.S. Rising Dividends Hedged Corporate Class

Investment Objective and Strategy

The fund seeks long-term capital appreciation by investing substantially all of its assets in units of Franklin U.S. Rising Dividends Fund, a portfolio of American equities with a focus on companies that have paid consistent and increasing dividends. The fund also seeks to minimize the impact of currency fluctuations between the U.S. and Canadian dollars.

A core U.S. holding. Ideal for investors seeking exposure to a core U.S. equity component for their portfolios. It offers the potential for long-term growth and performance through dividend-paying U.S. equities.

Reinvesting for growth. The underlying fund focuses on investing in companies with a history of consistent and substantial dividend increases, and that have the potential for higher future cash flows.

Minimize currency risk. The fund applies a currency hedge to minimize the effects of changes in currency valuations.
