Templeton Global Bond Fund (Hedged)

Investment Objective and Strategy

The fund seeks high current income with capital appreciation by investing substantially all of its assets in units of Templeton Global Bond Fund (the “underlying fund”). The fund invests in derivatives in order to mitigate the impact of currency fluctuations between the U.S. dollar and the Canadian dollar. The underlying fund invests primarily in fixed-income securities issued around the world.

Diversification. Offers exposure to an unconstrained worldview independent from the benchmark used by the underlying fund to invest in bonds from any country, in any currency, and with the goal of finding the best values.

Multiple perspectives. Global and local experts provide extensive country analysis and multiple perspectives and lenses.

Experienced management. Dr. Michael Hasenstab has managed the underlying fund since 2005 and is backed by a large and experienced team of Global Macro analysts located around the world.

Reduced currency risk. The fund uses hedging strategies to reduce the impact of currency fluctuations between the U.S. and Canadian dollars.
