No one likes to sit around waiting for a video to download. To save you time and improve your experience, we use a technique known as "streaming." To access audio or video files on our website, you'll need either RealPlayer or Microsoft Media Player.
If you are a Windows user, you probably already have Microsoft Media Player installed.
If you click one of our video or audio files and it doesn't begin, perhaps your browser isn't equipped with this software. You can download a free version of your choice at the RealPlayer or Microsoft Media Player websites.
What is buffering?
While viewing videos or listening to audio presentations on our site, you may see the word "buffering" on your screen. Either of the streaming media players you use will save data to your local storage for playback when enough information has been assembled for the stream to start.
Typically, you'll notice buffering before a media presentation begins to play. It can also appear during the playback at any time when the presentation's bandwidth requirements are greater than the available bandwidth.
Audio and MP3 Files
To listen to an MP3 audio file, click on the "Download" link and the file will start playing in the audio software associated with this type of file. On computers running Microsoft Windows, Media Player is usually the default player.
To save an MP3 file, right-click on the "Download" link and select 'Save Target as...' or 'Save Link As...' (depending on your browser software) making sure you note the directory where you save the file. Now you can open the file in the audio software you use or transfer the file to a portable audio/MP3 player.
