Fixed Income Fund: A mutual fund that invests primarily in fixed income securities (bonds). Franklin Templeton Investments offers three fixed income funds: Templeton Global Bond Fund, Bissett Bond Fund, and Bissett Canadian High Dividend Fund.
Front-End Load: A mutual fund purchase option that requires the investor to pay an up-front commission to an investment advisor. Typically, the commission is deducted from the initial investment. Templeton, Franklin, Bissett and Mutual Series Funds are available on a front-end load basis.
